PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conical shape involute gear pair capable of realizing satisfactory tooth bearing of both of left and right tooth faces. SOLUTION: The relation of the pair of conical shape involute gears is specified by a meshing model using a design pitch point as a reference. When the length of reference conical generating line of the conical shape involute gear on one side is A<SB>op</SB>, a twist angle isψ<SB>p</SB>, a generated conical angle isδ<SB>p</SB>, length of reference conical generating line of the conical shape involute gear on the other side is A<SB>OG</SB>, a twist angle isψ<SB>G</SB>, and a generated conical angle isδ<SB>G</SB>, left and right tooth face pressure anglesα<SB>n1</SB>,α<SB>nr</SB>are obtained from a limit pressure angleψ<SB>o</SB>for satisfying the relation ofψ<SB>o</SB>=arctan((-(A<SB>op</SB>×sinψ<SB>p</SB>+A<SB>OG</SB>×sinψ<SB>G</SB>)/(A<SB>op</SB>×tanδ<SB>p</SB>+A<SB>OG</SB>×tanδ<SB>G</SB>))×((tanδ<SB>p</SB>×tanδ<SB>G</SB>)/cos(ψ<SB>p</SB>+ψ<SB>G</SB>))).
