PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire casing having improved hysteresis characteristics and scotch safety. SOLUTION: This tire casing having a tread comprising a rubber composition which comprises at least one elastomer, silica as a reinforcing filler, and a coating. The coating comprises a reinforcing additive comprising a mixture and/or in situ reaction product of at least one functional polyorganosiloxane compound containing at least one functional unit capable of chemically and/or physically bondable to the surface of the silica per the molecule, with at least one functional organosilane compound containing at least other functional group capable of chemically and/or physically bondable to the hydroxyl site of the polyorganosiloxane and/or the silica particles and capable of chemically and/or physically bondable to at least one functional group and the chain of the polymer, per molecule.
