PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition suitably used for the purpose of evaluating the sorption behavior of an aroma component even in container packaging using a synthetic resin having high polarity like PET and capable of more enhancing evaluation reliability, and also to provide a sorption behavior evaluation method of the aroma component using it. SOLUTION: The liquid composition contains a hydrocarbon component, an ester component, an aldehyde component, an alcohol component and a phenol component as sorption components and at least one kind of a compound of which the solubility parameter based on an evaporation energy value is 26.3 or above is contained in the sorption components. If the sorption behavior of the aroma component is evaluated using the liquid composition, the sorption behavior of the aroma component can be evaluated with higher reliability even in container packaging using a high polarity material such as PET or the like.
