PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the efficient removal or the like of glass waste produced in the cutting of a glass plate. SOLUTION: A glass plate P is sucked on an attraction table 16 to move a cutting scheduled line L just above a cutter 12. The cutter 12 is moved along the cutting scheduled line L while holding the glass plate P with a clamp mechanism 14. The clamp mechanism 14 is turned to a suction nozzle 18 and the glass plate P is cut on the cutting scheduled line L. While blowing a belt-like air stream to the glass waste produced in the cutting from a blow nozzle 20, the air stream mixed with the glass waste is sucked and discharged with the suction nozzle 18.
