PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device and a sheet stacking system capable of carrying sheets at high speed without breaking the sheet material when they are stacked. SOLUTION: This sheet carrying device of the sheet stacking system is provided with a sheet carrying means having a carrying surface for carrying the sheet material in the predetermined direction, and the sheet carrying means is formed so that height of both side edges of the carrying surface is higher than that of a central part thereof in an outlet, from which the sheet material is to be carried out.
