PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix a crossbar for high jump or pole vault to a crossbar bracket support base easily and firmly because such complicated work as loosening or tightening bolts whenever the crossbar is used in school, etc. where the position of the crossbar should be frequently adjusted. SOLUTION: The crossbar support for high jump or pole vault consists of a crossbar support tool A and a slide clamp B. The crossbar support tool A includes two integrally formed pieces, a hole for inserting a support C at the center, a flat bracket for mounting the crossbar at one end and a grip hole at the other end. The slide clamp B includes a hole for inserting the support C bored at the center of a body, a spring 13 at a lower part at one end, a grip 16 integrally mounted at the distal end of the other end, and a pin 15 with a spring 17 at a lower part inserted between the grip attached part and the hole.
