An improved design for motorway junction with two incoming lanes and three outgoing lanes or vice versa has dedicated ramps with only one bridge and with no crossover stretches, i.e. where traffic streams cross each other. The system can be extended to multiple junctions with a minimum of bridges and with no crossover sections. This results in a compact junction with no need for extended crossover sections.
