CONTAINER MADE OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new container made of a flexible material which can be manufactured by a simple and economical method and at a high speed.

SOLUTION: The container made of the flexible material is obtained by forming a bottom wall (a) and two or more side walls (b) standing substantially at a right angle from the bottom wall (a) and a pleating portion (d) which is made by performing pleating on a portion arranged between two or more side walls (b) and near corners of the blank and arranged between the two or more side walls and two or more connecting walls (c), and also is obtained from a polygonal blank (2) made of a sheet material having single-layer or multi-layer by pleating and folding of an outer periphery edge (10) provided with two or more side walls (c) and an upper periphery edge (10) folded outside.
