<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, an image forming apparatus, and an image forming method, capable of placing a limit on number of copying times of an image forming matter. <P>SOLUTION: Number of copying permission times information denoting the number of copying permission times is recorded to a wireless tag mounted on an original or paper, and the number of copy permission times is decrementally updated by each copying. When the number of copy permission times is "0", no copy of the original is carried out.
