<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink stock solution as a material of ink compositions, excellent in storage stability and treatability, to provide an ink stock solution capable of printing excellent black color at high density without requiring great deal addition and another additional color-correcting dye, having excellent weather resistance, excellent in heat resistance, water resistance (causing no blot), hue and liquid stability, to provide an ink composition using the ink stock solution, and to provide a method of ink-jet printing using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The stock solution is characterized by containing a dye having 440-540 nm maximum absorption spectrum in an aqueous medium and 90-200 nm half width, wherein the dye is ≥3 mass% as solid content, and a method for producing the ink stock solution, an ink composition prepared by using the ink stock solution, and a method of ink-jet printing forming images by using the ink composition are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
