<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vector controller for induction motors that is capable of correcting and matching a set value of mutual inductance with an actual value just by adding software processing without adding any special apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The vector controller 1 for induction motors includes a mutual inductance correcting unit 3 and a vector control unit 2. The mutual inductance correcting unit determines a correction value of the mutual inductance of an induction motor 15 based on the error between a computed torque value computed using a measured value of the primary current of the induction motor 15 and a torque command value for the induction motor 15 generated at a torque command generation unit. The vector control unit controls the induction motor so that the torque generated by the induction motor 15 agrees with the torque command value using the circuit constants of the induction motor 15 including the correction value of mutual inductance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
