<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a load test without using a network test tool (load tester), in a repeater provided with a load testing function. <P>SOLUTION: Input traffic received by a receiving line interface part 2 is obtained into a frame coping part 7 independently of a normal traffic relay route 6 and written in a memory 8. A memory control part 9 calculates the next reading timing for the memory 8 on the basis of a rate value of output traffic detected by a traffic monitoring part 10, a load rate set value and the current memory 8 reading timing in response to a load rate and a load test start command issued from a terminal 1 for a maintenance person operation and reads the current traffic frame stored in the memory 8. An arbitrating part 11 transmits the traffic frame read from the memory 8 to an opposite device from a transmitting line side interface part 3 while arbitrating and controlling active normal traffic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
