PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimode receiver with a wide dynamic range at a low cost capable of sharing an A/D converter independently of a high or low sampling frequency. SOLUTION: A wireless signal amplifier section 1c of a first wireless signal reception means 1 amplifies a wireless signal passing through a wireless signal interruption section 1b up to a proper signal level. The amplified wireless signal is subjected to band limit at a band limit section 1d and the resulting signal is output to a signal summing means 3. On the other hand, a second wireless signal cut-off section 2b of a second wireless signal reception means 2 cuts-off a wireless signal received by a second antenna 2a. Thus, a wireless signal amplifier section 2c amplifies noise existing in an input signal and its own circuit noise. A second band limit section 2d applies band limit processing to the amplified noise signal and the resulting signal is output to the signal summing means 3. The signal summing means 3 sums the wireless signal and the noise signal, an A/D converter means 4 converts the sum into a digital signal, and a signal processing means 5 digitally processes the digital signal and thereafter a demodulation signal is output.
