PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a server rack capable of efficiently cooling the server rack having a versatility, capable of conducting a cooling without increasing the temperature of a room, and contributing to an ecology countermeasure. SOLUTION: A downflow unit 10 detachable to the upper section of a front in the server rack P is mounted. An exchanging panel 20 mounted in an exchangeable manner with one of the side plates of the server rack P is fitted. A cooler unit 30 is fitted for supplying the downflow unit 10 with a cold air through the exchanging panel 20. A cooler cover 40 is secured for covering the cooler unit 30 connected to a duct Q for an outdoor exhaust and exhausting a waste heat from the cooler unit 30 outside the room.
