PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid drop polymerization method for colliding and mixing a first liquid with a second liquid each jetted from a nozzle opening into a gas phase and polymerizing a polymerizing monomer in the presence of a polymerization initiator in the mixing system to obtain a polymer, in which the blockage of the nozzle can be prevented. SOLUTION: A liquid film 4 for preventing the blockage of a nozzle is formed on a nozzle outer wall surface near the nozzle opening 1A of a jetting nozzle 1 for jetting the first liquid and the second liquid. A liquid having high affinity with one or more of the first liquid, the second liquid and the polymer obtained by the polymerization is preferably used as the liquid for preventing the blockage of the nozzle.
