PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored-resin-coated granular fertilizer of a uniform aimed hue without detriment to fertilizer's component dissolution performance inherent in a resin-coated granular fertilizer and without being adversely affected by the surface hue of the resin-coated granular fertilizer used. SOLUTION: The colored-resin-coated granular fertilizer has 3 to 5 layers of each of a colorant coating layer comprising a pigment powder and a resin coating layer comprising a thermosetting resin alternately on the surface of a resin-coated granular fertilizer prepared by surface-coating a granular resin with a resin, and is produced by repeating 3 to 5 times a series of the following alternating treatments: adding a colorant comprising a pigment powder to the surface of a resin-coated granular fertilizer prepared by surface-coating a granular fertilizer with a resin to effect its coating and adding a liquid uncured thermosetting resin to effect resin coating followed by heat curing.
