The structure is formed by at least one section in the form of a freight container with side walls (1), a ceiling and a floor. On the inside a floorplate (3) lies loosely on the floor and on all sides is several centimeters smaller than the boundaries defined by the inside walls. Vertically orientated telescopically interconnected pairs of profiled components are located in the space between an inner wall and an encompassing outer wall with the end pieces fastened to the outer ceiling at the top and to the outer floor at the bottom respectively. An independent claim is included for a wall and floor construction in which the telescopic movement is damped by friction increasing means on the inter-engaging surfaces of the profiled sections.
