Automotive fuel-burning secondary heater system discharges gas emissions to atmosphere via catalytic exhaust gas filter and exhaust system

An automobile has a fuel-burning secondary internal heating system for the vehicle occupants that operates both when the vehicle is in motion and at rest. The exhaust gases from the heater discharge into the main engine exhaust pipe and thence to the exhaust gas filter, prior to discharge to the ambient air. The main exhaust gas filter is a catalytic converter with particle filter. Also claimed is a secondary internal heating system with an interface to the vehicle exhaust system. Further claimed is an exhaust system with an interface to the secondary heater. Also claimed is a commensurate operating process.
