<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying time division to moving picture data formed by photographing the action of a human. <P>SOLUTION: A computer implements processing comprising: a first step specifying at least two or more regions of a moving image as an observation region; a second step calculating observation region time-change data in accordance with the optical flow of the observation region specified by the first step; a third step calculating inter-observation region correlation data in accordance with correlation coefficients between a plurality of regions of the observation region time-change data calculated by the second step; and a fourth step determining an articulation point of time of the moving image data in accordance with the inter-observation region correlation data calculated by the third step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
