摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle that can reduce fuel consumption while securing an energy capacity for charging regenerative energy. <P>SOLUTION: The amount of the regenerative energy obtained at braking on the basis of the state of vehicle traveling is predicted by a regenerative energy prediction means (S2), it is determined whether or not the predicted regenerative energy is chargeable to a power storage device 3 by a regenerative chargeability determination means (S3) on the basis of the charging state of the power storage device and the predicted regenerative energy, when determined to be chargeable, first power generation efficiency that corresponds to the charging state of the power storage device 3 is set as the target power generation efficiency of a generating set 7 by a target power generation efficiency setting means (S4), and when determined not to be chargeable, higher second power generation efficiency is set as the target power generation efficiency until the regenerative energy is determined to be chargeable once again, thus obtaining set target power generation efficiencies in a drive motor 4 and the generating set 7 by a charge and discharge control means (S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
