<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor allowing commonization of setting information while considering a concrete actual condition of network operation. <P>SOLUTION: In this information processor, a reference destination database showing whether to perform acquisition in each piece of setting information or not is held associatively to information for specifying a device that is a candidate of a reference destination, a reference destination device is determines from the candidates or the reference destinations on the basis of the reference destination database, the setting information capable of being acquired from the determined reference destination device in the reference destination database is acquired from the determined reference destination device, and prescribed processing related to setting update based on the acquired setting information is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
