<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cooling system capable of suppressing the rise of the battery temperature in stopping of traveling of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The battery cooling system 40 is the system which cools the battery 30 by utilizing a travel wind generated along with the traveling in a hybrid electric automobile having a heat source such as an engine 2 and a radiator 3 or the like. The battery cooling system is installed under the floor of a vehicle, and provided with a recessed shape storage part 41 which is recessed in a cabin side so as to be able to store the battery 30, a heat absorbing member 42 which is provided at the upper stream side in the traveling direction than the battery 30, and can absorb the heat impressed by the heat source from the air flowing in the storage part 41 through the under floor of the vehicle, and an exhaust flow path 43 which guides the fluid passing through the heat source or its surrounding to the side of the vehicle and exhausts it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
