<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for air-conditioning capable of adjusting an air blowoff passage, corresponding to an existing decorative panel. <P>SOLUTION: The indoor unit 12 for air-conditioning is provided with a casing 36; a suction port 38 formed in the lower face of the casing 36; a fan 24 for sucking indoor air from the suction port 38 and blowing off air toward a sidewall of the casing 36; a heat exchanger 22 disposed downstream of air blown off from the fan 24; and an air blowoff passage 42 formed between the heat exchanger 22 and the sidewall of the casing 36. The sidewall of the casing 36 is formed with a movable face 46 movable enlargingly from a top wall 44 of the casing 36, and a fixing face 48 for supporting the upper part of the movable face 46 rotatably. Further, a flexible member 50 is interposed between a side part of the movable face 46 and the fixing face 48.
