PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly separate contents and metadata and to improve durability to format conversion without deteriorating the contents at all. SOLUTION: There are provided: a means 110 for accepting an input of digital contents as an object to attach metadata thereto; a means 120 for accepting an input of metadata attached to the contents; a means 130 for expanding a region for electronic data representing the contents and for complementing the data to generate an outer edge data region to embed the metadata therein; a means 140 for embedding the metadata in the outer edge data region; and a means 150 for outputting content data with the metadata attached thereto into the outer edge data region.
