LENS DRIVING APPARATUS AND DIGITAL CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact lens driving apparatus which controls position by detecting the original point of a lens and to provide a digital camera in which the lens driving apparatus is used. SOLUTION: An electrically conductive member 70 is provided around the outer periphery of a lens holder 45. An aperture 41b is formed on an upper cover 41 and two electric wires 72 are penetrated from the outside to the inside of the upper cover through the aperture 41b. The ends of the two electric wires 72 are arranged at a position at which the ends are made to contact with the electrically conductive member 70 when the lens holder 45 moves along the optical axis direction and the position of a photographic lens 23 arrives at the original point position (close end). The back ends of the two electric wires 72 are connected to a detection circuit 71 provided at the side face of an under cover 42. The detection circuit 71 detects the electric conduction of the back ends of the two electric wires 72 and the electrically conductive member 70 when the photographic lens 23 arrives at the original point and outputs a detection signal.
