PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod-type constant velocity joint capable of dispensing with grease lubrication and being hardly subject to restrictions in its use. SOLUTION: Three track grooves 4 are formed on an inner periphery of an outer ring 1 at intervals of 120°in the circumferential direction. A tripod member 11 incorporated inside of the outer ring 1 is provided with torque transmission projecting parts 13 slidable in each of track grooves 4 of the outer ring 1. As the outer ring 1 and the tripod member 11 are respectively composed of moldings of synthetic resin, the grease lubrication becomes unnecessary. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
