PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable earthquake sensing locking device for functioning to automatically release lock when vibration stops, without being unlocked during vibration, whle locking simultaneously when sensing an earthquake. SOLUTION: The inside of a lock device body 1 has a ball 4, and has an obstacle projecting part 1D so that the ball does not pass through the bottom surface center 1A of a return position when the vibration stops, by movably guiding the ball 4 along this groove in vibrating, by arranging an X groove part 1B in an X shape in the moving direction of the ball 4 on a floor surface for rolling the ball 4. The highly reliable device can be provided for locking in vibrating and unlocking when the vibration stops, by providing a narrow surface for slowly returning the ball 4 to the bottom surface center 1A at a gentle gradient when the vibration stops.
