<p>The device has a brush seal with bristles arranged in a mounting area bounded by a support unit (21). A hole (24) is brought in the unit and connected with an area (11) subjected with a small pressure, via a valve (25). The area (11) is positioned in a partial area of the mounting area in a downstream of the seal. The valve opens or closes the holes based on the temperature within an area of a gap formed between a rotor and a stator.</p>
