<p>Collision protection system comprises a sliding mechanism via which the drivers cabin is coupled to the chassis, in which the cabin forms a predetermined deformation zone in its rear region outside of a survival chamber. Preferred Features: The sliding mechanism is structured so that the rear region of the cabin is lifted with respect to the chassis during a translational movement of the cabin. The deformation zone is defined by the arrangement of bending and/or folding elements having predetermined deformation properties. The sliding mechanism has a pivoting mechanism which transforms the translational horizontal movement of the cabin along the chassis into a vertical movement of the rear region of the cabin.</p> |
