The procedure involves correlating two sensor devices during reconstruction of a height section of measuring track ways (10, 11). Height measuring values are correlated by the track ways in such a manner that measuring data of a surface section are derived from the measuring values of the one of the devices. The measuring values of the device are derived at same measuring positions from measuring values of another device. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring a height section of a track way.
