METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE AND/OR BLACK STRIPE FOR PLASMA DISPLAY SUBSTRATE

There is provided a method for manufacturing an electrode and/or black stripe for plasma display for forming a plasma display panel display electrode, bus electrode, and black stripe is a case, with the same material and by the same dry step. This enables manufacturing with a low load on the environment, at reasonable cost, with low resistance, without causing erosion by dielectric body and display of a clear image by preventing reflection on the PDP display device. A laser beam is applied onto a mask layer formed on a transparent substrate to form openings in areas corresponding to the patterns of the display electrode, the bus electrode, and the black stripe in a case. After this, a reflection prevention layer for preventing reflection and an electrode layer are successively formed on the entire surface. The laser beam is again applied and the mask layer is peeled off. Simultaneously with this, the unnecessary thin film layer is also removed.
