The invention refers to stands on which the brushes for cleaning the toilet bowl are placed before and after their use. The stand for toilet bowl brush, according to the invention, after being shaped suitably, is connected through pipes with the premises drainage system directly or indirectly, so that the liquids collected in it are drained away. Further, it may be equipped with some convenient means (e.g. plug or switch) at an appropriate position so that drainage of liquids to the sewerage is checked. The advantage of the invention is that the water draining from the brush does not stay in the stand and the stand is aired better. In this way the stand does not become a source of germs. Further, the cleaning and the disinfection of the stand and of the brush are facilitated.
