<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably carry a web by always guiding one end of the web with a first side member and while making the other end of the web surely abut on a second side guide member. <P>SOLUTION: A continuous paper P is moved to the other end PB side by a steering roll 110. Furthermore, the continuous paper P is moved to the other end PB side by tolerance for shape of the other end PB of the continuous paper P by a cross roll 202 provided in a curved surface part 212 of a first guide 210. The other end PB of the continuous paper P abuts on the second side guide 224 of a second guide 220. Both the steering roll 110 and the cross roll 202 are used to make the other end PB of the continuous paper P abut on the second side guide 224 of the second guide 220 for guide. When abutting force is increased, a spring 226 is shrunken toward the other end PB side, and the second guide 220 is moved to the other end PB side. Excessive force is thereby absorbed and proper abutting force is obtained. Even if the second guide 220 is moved in the cross direction as an arrow X1 expresses, since the first guide 210 is energized in the other end PB direction by the spring 216, the first guide 210 is moved to follow the second guide 210 as an arrow X2 expresses.
