<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame welding method for an image forming apparatus, wherein the manufacture cost of a housing can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the frame welding method for the image forming apparatus, cylindrical frame material 14 is formed by bending an almost square metallic plate so that right and left side parts 15a and 15b may be opposed to each other, and the frame material is welded on a bottom board made of metal 11 of the housing in which equipment for image forming can be housed. In the method, the bottom board is superposed on the frame material so that its end face 18 may face to the opposed spot 16 of the side parts and the end face and the both side parts of the opposed spot are simultaneously welded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
