<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device capable of generating a complicated timbre and many variations. <P>SOLUTION: An operator 1 operates as a modulator. A time variation LPF 2 is an LPF whose characteristics vary with time. A selector 3 selects and outputs one of the output of the operator 1 and the output of the time variation LPF 2. An operator 4 operates as a carrier. A time variation LPF 5 and an LPF similar to the LPF 2 and a selector 6 selects and outputs one of the output of the operator 4 and the output of the time variation LPF 5. The time variation LPFs 2 and 5 are provided on the output side of the operator 1 and the output side of the operator 4 respectively and can insert or not insert the time variation LPFs 2 and 5 into the outputs of the operators 1 and 4 in accordance with select signals applied to the selectors 3 and 6. This musical sound generating device is enabled to generate a variety of musical sounds which are not seen before through the selecting functions of the selectors 3 and 6 and the functions of the time variation LPFs 2 and 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
