PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winder which can be downsized by narrowing the interval between adjacent split cores and also can shorten its winding time by raising its rotational speed. SOLUTION: This winder is equipped with a pair of winding jigs 6 and 11 which support split cores 7a and 7b, severally, and also rotate integrally with a spindle, being arranged so that at least one hand can shift in the axial direction of a spindle shaft 2, shifting means 6d and 11d which shift these winding jigs in the axial direction of the spindle shaft, a positioning means which positions the positions, in the axial direction of the spindle shaft, of the pair of winding jigs by a female plate 13 and a male plate 14, and a nozzle 20 which veers out a line material 21 to be wound on the split core. The pair of winding jigs support split cores, severally, on the side of one end. One winding jig is shifted to be apart from the spindle shaft more than the other winding jig by means of the shifting jig and is positioned by means of the positioning means. This winder winds the line material veered out of the nozzle around the split core supported by one winding jig by rotating the spindle shaft.
