PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a control unit in a throttle body. SOLUTION: This throttle valve device has a throttle valve body 10, and the throttle body 8 for storing the throttle valve body 10. A shaft part 12 of the throttle valve body 10 is connected to a throttle sensor 35 by a connecting shaft 41. The control unit 34 includes housings 341 and 342 for storing at least the throttle sensor 35 and a control circuit. The control unit 34 is joined to the throttle body 8 by a flange 181 arranged in the throttle body 8 and a hook-shaped claw part 345 arranged on the housing side and engaging with the flange 181.
