PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor tent having an awning roof at its top with open peripheral sides, whose roof is low in height so as to endure a strong gust of cross wind, having a long depth as well as a large floor area. SOLUTION: In the outdoor tent of a periphery open type having an awning roof at the top thereof, the awning roof is comprised of an awning 1 in which both perpendicular sides are in trapezoidal shapes, a zenith 100a is flat and front and rear planes are inclined downward, frames in a trapezoidal shape for right and left side planes supporting the awning and four bridge-formed frames horizontally installed with both ends fixed to the corners of the right and left trapezoidal-shaped frames. When the cross-wind blows to the awning roof, the wind goes into an airflow orifice 13 to push up a sheet-like covering 14 and passes through so as to reduce the blowing-up force applying to the awning roof.
