PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric for a wiper, having excellent wiping performance, liquid absorptivity, and strength and moderate soft touch, and used as a dry wiper and a wet wiper. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric for the wiper includes: both or one of an acrylic fiber A to which shearing force is applied to be separated from a trunk part thereof and fibrillated to a fiber diameter of 1μm or less and an acrylic fiber B to which shearing force is applied to generate a branch part having a fiber diameter of 1μm or less from the trunk part having a fiber diameter of 2μm or more and to be fibrillated; and organic fiber C of one or more kinds with a fiber diameter of 1 to 30μm, wherein the respective fibers are entangled with one another in three dimensions by high-pressure columnar water stream.
