PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding wheelchair by which brake is easily applied on the right and left wheels and which locked even by a person who can move only one arm. SOLUTION: A second shaft 12 is ejected from a bearing part 13 with the folding of a wheelchair body (b), and finally a connection part 10 comes out of the bearing part 13, and the second shaft is folded down vertically at the connection part 10 by its own weight (c). When the wheelchair body is developed and is operated, the connection part 10 is drawn into a broadening hole 15, and subsequently the second shaft 12 is smoothly lifted by a taper wall of the broadening hole 15 (b), made horizontal (a) and smoothly drawn into the bearing hole, to allow development of the wheelchair without touching the brake.
