PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a ball detector to carry out electrical ball detection operation wirelessly by radio or light. SOLUTION: A fitting body 2 is fitted to a game board 35 with a fixing screw 37, a detection body 3 is fitted to the fitting body 2, a detection hole 13 projects to a front side from a game area 43 being the front face of the game board 35, and the rear part of the detection body 3 projects to a rear side from the rear face of the game board 35. When a power source body 4 having a power source 28 is fitted to the detection body 3, a detection element 14 and a signal transmission part 15 are driven by power from the power source 28. When the ball passes through the detection hole 13 from the game area 43, the detection element 14 outputs an electrical detection signal to the signal transmission part 15, and the signal transmission part radiates the detection signal as a radio signal by radio from an antenna 20 to the outside of the detection body 3 on the rear face of the game board 35 via a radiating hole 21.
