PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image acquisition method to enable the quick and timely confirmation of a photographing condition at a destination of the transmission when the radiation photographing is executed and the radiation image data is transmitted by wireless, a radiation image acquisition apparatus and a computer program for the radiation image display. SOLUTION: The radiation image acquisition method is employed to irradiate a subject with the radiation to detect the radiation which penetrates the subject, acquire the radiation image data on the basis of the detection result, produce a reduced image data on the basis of the radiation image data, transmit the reduced image data by wireless, and receive the transmitted reduced image data to display the reduced image.
