PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which enables a further increase of the game media gainable by the players with the higher possibility of enhancing the expectations for the games by expanding the opportunity of permitting the shift to the special games to other occasions not confined to the role lottery. SOLUTION: Two types of special games, first and second, are made available as such while the lottery processing is carried out to determine whether the shift to the first game from the normal game should be permitted or not up to the operation of the stop switch after the operation of the start switch. In addition to this, the lottery processing is conducted to determine whether the shift to the second game from the normal game should be permitted before the start switch for starting the current game is operated after the lottery processing for the game, at least the first one preceding it, is done.
