PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual cleaning apparatus which efficiently cleans the surface of a glass wall of a large area, has simple structure, does not damage the appearance of the glass wall and is manufactured and installed at low cost. SOLUTION: The manual cleaning apparatus is constituted of: a manual pole (11 etc.) held movably while keeping a vertical state by rollers (12a, 13a, etc.)along an upper frame (22) and lower frame (23) for fixing the glass, the rollers having a length nearly equal to the height of the glass (21) to be cleaned and being provided at the upper end and lower end of the pole; and a wiper blade (14) fitted so as to extend to nearly the whole length of the pole for wiping the surface of the glass. The manual cleaning apparatus can be constituted in such a way that one pole (11) is provided and shoes (12 and 13) are fitted to the upper end and lower end of the pole, or two poles (11A and 11B) are provided and may be connected so as to be close to and away from each other.
