The outer grip arrangement is for a road vehicle door (3) and incorporates a door external grip (5) with at least one electrical sensor (6) or switch (7) together with a connecting conduit (8). An assembly unit (10) comprises the at least one electrical component, the connecting conduit and a watertight, flexible casing (11) and is built into the door external grip. The casing at least partly encloses the at least one electrical component and preferable the connecting conduit. The casing at least in areas, particularly in the area of a movable operating component (12), is elastically deformable. The assembly unit incorporates an electrical connector (9), particularly a plug connector.
