ENVELOPE FOR POSTAL ITEMS, WHICH CAN BE TRANSFORMED INTO A DISPLAY FRAME

The invention relates to an envelope for postal items, which can be transformed into a display frame. The invention is characterised in that it comprises a laminar body (1) which is preferably made from low-grammage paper, card or board and which is subjected to punching and scoring operations. A transverse score line (2) is provided in the central part of the aforementioned body, along which the body is folded. One of the two zones thus-defined is equipped with a wide opening (3) comprising lateral parallel score lines (6), such as to form lateral tabs (4 and 4'), and a lower transverse score line (6), such as to form another tab (5). A fourth score line (6) is provided at the shortest remaining side in order to form a flap (7). In addition, microperforated tear lines (8 and 8') are provided in the part of the laminar body (1) that does not contain the window (3), said lines forming semi-triangular support zones (9) for the display frame. The support system enables the frame to be used horizontally or vertically and the tab closure system enables the envelope to be opened and sealed as often as necessary.
