<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a projector device capable of realizing the prolongation of the lives of devices by improving the cooling effect of a PS converter and an optical prism unit. <P>SOLUTION: The projector device is equipped with an optical system unit equipped with the optical prism unit and the PS converter, a cooling means cooling the optical system unit, and an external cabinet in which the optical system unit and the cooling means are assembled. The cooling means has a sirocco fan 41, a 1st air duct 43 guiding air sent from the sirocco fan 41 to a light valve 35 so as to cool it, and a 2nd air duct 45 guiding the air sent from the sirocco fan 41 to the PS converter 23 so as to cool it and partitioned by a partition wall 34a from the 1st air duct 43. Warm air which is served for cooling and is warmed is guided into the external cabinet 1 from the 1st air duct 43 and the 2nd air duct 45 to have ordinary temperature, and then made to reflux from an inlet 51 to the sirocco fan 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
