<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a query about entrance/exit status from an external telephone terminal in an entrance/exit management system for automatically managing the entrance/exit status of a person to be managed of a private school, a school and a company or the like via an ID tag storing identification information (ID) of the person to be managed. <P>SOLUTION: The identification information (ID) stored in the ID tag 2 of a student is read by a tag reader 12, and the entrance/exit of a corresponding person to be managed is detected, and stored as an entrance/exit history in a database. When a request for entrance/exit information related to a specific management object person is made from an external telephone terminal 8b to a management center 20, a computer 30 for management transmits/receives data via a computer 32 for notification to/from the external telephone terminal 8b, and performs authentication processing, the extraction of the requested information and data conversion matching a transmission destination, and outputs the results to the computer 32 for notification.
