<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for improving a binding force between upper and lower substrates and a method of manufacturing the display device. <P>SOLUTION: A gate driver is formed on a display panel and a binding member is formed in a seal line area enclosing the display area. A reflective member is provided on a first peripheral area outside the seal line area or a second peripheral area between a portion of the seal line area and the display area to guide light for curing the binding member, to the binding member. Consequently, an increased amount of light is provided to the binding member formed on the gate drive by reflecting the light for curing the binding member by the reflective member so that the binding member is cured to improve the binding force between the upper and lower substrates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
