<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for representing user tasks to be performed by one or more of a plurality of electronic devices in a task organization system. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic device includes a function description specifying a function that the device can perform. The function descriptions are obtained from one or more of the devices, and task descriptions that describe device functions requested for certain tasks are obtained, and task proposals are generated based on the obtained device function descriptions and task descriptions. Each task proposal represents a user task as the abstraction of one or more of the obtained device descriptions and task descriptions. The task proposals are displayed on a display so as to be selected by the user, wherein the task proposal selected by the user is to be performed by the organization (automation) of one or more of the devices based on the task descriptions for using the device functions described in the device function descriptions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
